The "Cruise Against Cancer" is an annual event that takes place every August and unites car & motorcycle owners, enthusiasts and spectators. This show and fundraising event was established in 2008 by TJ Hirsch, owner of Auto Enclosures Inc. and brother to the late Jacquie Hirsch who lost a very brave fight on September 6th of that year following a courageous year-long battle with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. In an effort to raise awareness and critical funds for research, The Cruise Against Cancer donates 100% of the money raised at this event to The Jacquie Hirsch For A.L.L Leukemia Research Project established at Roswell park Cancer Institute where doctors are testing specialized samples in an effort to ultimately determine why patients relapse after transplants and, why this form of cancer is so difficult to treat and cure.
